Parenting a child with disabilities can be down-right frustrating, exhausting, overwhelming and it can also be one of the most amazing, gratifying and fulfilling experiences of one's life!
The Shasta County SELPA is here to serve our community by providing resources and a forum for you to be involved in your child's education. We encourage you to join our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to partner with stakeholders from around the county. The CAC provides input on the service plan for special education, connect agencies with families, and provides training on the unique situations families and people with disability face.
